About Us

The University Extension, under the constitutional principle of indissociability between teaching, research and extension, is an interdisciplinary educational, cultural, scientific and political process that promotes the transformative interaction between university and other sectors of society.

To be considered extension action, it must involve the participation of teachers, administrative technicians, students and other sectors of society, formulating together projects, courses and events that meet the demands of society and, at the same time, put in question the knowledge generated in the university.
